These provisions are designed to protect Dub Dev Technologies (the provider of Ahln) by limiting liability and clarifying responsibilities. Please read them carefully:

1          General “As-Is” and No-Warranty Disclaimer

1.1        Services Provided “As Is”

All Ahln services and products are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without any guarantees of fault-free operation or fitness for your particular needs. Ahln disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the website, app, and smart box at your own risk, understanding that no warranty is given that the services will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

1.2        No Safety or Performance Guarantee

Ahln (Dub Dev Technologies) makes no claims or representations regarding the safety, reliability, durability, or performance of its hardware or software products beyond any explicitly provided warranties. Except for any written warranty terms that accompany the product, no additional warranty is provided. For example, we do not warrant that using the Ahln Smart Delivery Box or app will guarantee the security of your packages under all circumstances. All functionalities are offered without any guarantee of outcome, and the entire risk as to their quality and performance remains with the user.

1.3        Inspection and Suitability

Where applicable, you are responsible for examining the product or service’s suitability before use. By proceeding to use Ahln services, you agree that the product is accepted “as is” in its current condition. We do not guarantee that the service or hardware is suitable for every purpose you might intend, and we assume no liability for any consequences of using Ahln services in ways other than their intended purpose.

2          Hardware Disclaimers

2.1        Proper Installation and Use

The Ahln Smart Delivery Box (and any related hardware) must be installed and used according to our guidelines.

2.1.1         User Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the device in good condition and using it as intended. Failure to follow installation instructions or using the box in unsuitable conditions (e.g. extreme weather outside specified limits) may result in malfunctions. Any misuse or unauthorized modification of the hardware voids any applicable warranty and relieves us of liability for resulting issues.

2.2        No Absolute Security Guarantee

While the Smart Delivery Box is designed to enhance package security (with features like secure locks and anti-tamper sensors), it cannot guarantee 100% protection against theft, damage, or loss of parcels. Ahln does not warrant that the box will prevent all thefts or unauthorized access. Residual risk remains whenever deliveries are made. Users acknowledge that proper use of the box is a deterrent but not an absolute safeguard. Dub Dev Technologies shall not be liable for any stolen or missing packages or any damage to parcels that occurs despite use of the Ahln Smart Box, except to the extent such liability cannot be lawfully excluded.

2.3        Device Performance and Durability

Ahln disclaims any implied promises that the Smart Delivery Box will function without error or degradation over time beyond what is stated in the product warranty. No guarantee of durability is given – for instance, if the hardware fails or components wear out after the warranty period, we are not responsible for any losses or damages arising from that failure. Regular maintenance (such as battery replacement or firmware updates, if applicable) is the user’s responsibility. We accept no liability for any harm or inconvenience caused by a hardware failure, except as explicitly covered under a valid warranty claim.

2.4        Tampering and Unauthorized Access

Any tampering with the Smart Delivery Box’s physical or electronic security features is prohibited. If the device’s locks, cameras, or electronics are tampered with or disabled, Ahln may suspend or terminate service to protect the platform’s integrity. Moreover, Dub Dev Technologies is not liable for consequences (such as theft or damage) resulting from tampering or improper use. The user assumes full responsibility for any breach of security or loss of functionality caused by interventions not performed or authorized by us.

3          Software Disclaimers

3.1        Service Availability

Ahln’s website and mobile application rely on internet connectivity and various systems. We do not guarantee that the software services will be available at all times or uninterrupted. There may be downtime, outages, or interruptions due to maintenance, upgrades, or factors outside our control (such as internet service issues or power failures). No compensation will be provided for any temporary inability to access the service.

3.2        Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information (for example, delivery status updates, notifications, or location data), Ahln does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information or content presented through the website or app. Delivery tracking information, maps, or notifications are provided for convenience and may occasionally be erroneous or delayed. Use of any information from our software is at your own risk, and you should verify critical details independently when necessary. We are not liable for decisions or actions you take in reliance on information provided by the app or website that may turn out to be incorrect or delayed.

3.3        Compatibility and Device Requirements

The Ahln mobile app runs on third-party operating systems (e.g. Android, iOS). We do not guarantee compatibility with every device, operating system version, or third-party software environment. It is the user’s responsibility to use compatible, updated devices and OS versions. If a mobile OS update or device-specific issue causes the Ahln app to malfunction, Dub Dev Technologies is not responsible for those incompatibilities. We also disclaim liability for any inability to download or update the app due to third-party app store restrictions or issues.

3.4        Security and Data

We implement robust security measures (encryption, authentication, secure storage) to protect our website, app, and your data. However, no system is completely immune to breaches or vulnerabilities. Ahln does not guarantee absolute security of the platform and disclaims liability for unauthorized access, hacks, data breaches, or data loss, provided we have implemented reasonable security measures. You should understand that any data transmitted or stored via our services (including video footage from the Smart Box, personal details, etc.) is subject to inherent security risks on the internet and cloud.

3.4.1         User Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (passwords, OTPs, PINs) and securing your own devices. We are not liable for any unauthorized access or actions in your account resulting from your failure to protect your credentials or personal devices.

3.5        No Professional Advice

Any information (including support articles, FAQs, or customer service communications) provided through the Ahln website or app is for general information purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. We disclaim any liability arising from any reliance on such informational materials. Always consult a qualified professional for advice pertaining to legal, security, or other professional matters.

4          Third-Party Services & Integrations Disclaimers

4.1        No Control Over Third-Party Services

Ahln’s services may incorporate or rely on third-party services and content – for example, courier or shipping company APIs for tracking, map services for location data, mobile device operating systems, notification services, or third-party payment processors. We do not control or endorse third-party content or services, and we make no warranties regarding any information or functionality provided by third parties. Any third-party content accessed through our platform (such as external links, tracking info from courier systems, or data from third-party platforms) is provided “as is” for your convenience. We will have no responsibility or liability for any Third-Party services or content, including if such content is inaccurate, outdated, or objectionable in any way. Your dealings with third-party providers are solely between you and those providers, and your use of their services is at your own risk.

4.2        Third-Party API and Feature Dependencies

Some features of Ahln (such as real-time shipment tracking, mapping, or push notifications) depend on external APIs and services (for example, services provided by courier companies, Google Maps, mobile OS notification services, etc.). You acknowledge that these third-party services may change, temporarily fail, or be discontinued by their providers. Dub Dev Technologies is not responsible for any disruptions or losses caused by failures or changes in third-party services. If a third-party provider ceases to make its content or APIs available on reasonable terms, we reserve the right to modify or discontinue the affected features of Ahln without notice or liability to you. For instance, if a courier’s tracking system goes offline or a mobile platform restricts certain functionalities, Ahln may not be able to provide those features, and we will not be liable for the lack of those services.

4.3        Mobile Platforms and App Stores

The Ahln mobile application is made available through third-party app stores (such as Google Play and Apple’s App Store) and runs on third-party operating systems. Downloading, installing, or using the app may be subject to separate terms of those providers. Ahln disclaims liability for any issues arising from the app store platforms or OS providers. This includes distribution problems, download errors, payment processing by app stores, or any device-specific conflicts caused by the operating system or other apps. We have no control over the availability or performance of the platforms themselves.

4.4        Third-Party Links and References

The website or app may contain links or references to third-party websites or services (for example, a link to a courier’s tracking webpage or a support article on a device manufacturer’s site). Such links are provided for convenience only. Ahln does not endorse the content of any third-party site, and we are not responsible for the content or practices of any site or service not operated by us. 5          Limitation of Liability

5.1        No Indirect or Consequential Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ahln (Dub Dev Technologies) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Ahln hardware or services. This non-liability for indirect losses includes, but is not limited to, any loss of parcel or packages, loss of data, loss of business or profits, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or any similar harm or damages. Even if you experience a parcel theft or loss while using the Ahln Smart Box, or suffer data loss or lost business opportunities due to a service outage, Ahln is not responsible for those incidental or consequential losses. We specifically do not assume liability for issues beyond our control such as courier mistakes/delays, network or internet downtime, or other force majeure events.

5.2        Monetary Liability Cap

In all cases and under any theory of liability (contract, tort, or otherwise), the maximum aggregate liability of Ahln and Dub Dev Technologies towards a user shall be limited to the lesser of the amount you paid for Ahln products/services or AED 5,000 (United Arab Emirates Dirhams five thousand). If applicable law does not allow a strict monetary cap, then our liability will be limited to the minimum amount the law permits. This cap on liability is an essential part of this disclaimer document – without it, we would not be able to offer the services to you under the same terms.

5.3        Acknowledgement of Risk

By using Ahln services, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks in delivery operations and internet-based services, and you agree to assume those risks to the extent allowed by law. You agree that Dub Dev Technologies is not liable for any damage or loss except to the extent expressly stated in this document. If you do not agree with these limitations, you should discontinue use of the Ahln platform.

5.4        No Liability for Third-Party Acts

Additionally, Ahln is not liable for the acts or omissions of third parties that may affect your experience. This includes situations such as a courier’s failure to deliver a package, a telecommunications outage, unauthorized third-party access or hacking despite our security measures, or any third-party software/hardware failure. Any claims or issues arising from third-party actions should be directed to those third parties, not to Ahln.

6          User Indemnification & Responsibility

6.1        Indemnity Clause

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ahln, Dub Dev Technologies, and our affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Ahln services, your violation of any law or regulation, or your breach of any agreement with us (including these disclaimers and our Terms of Service). This means that if your actions (for example, using the Ahln box or app in an illegal manner, or breaching these terms) cause someone else to sue us or cause us to incur costs, you will be responsible for those costs and any damages.

6.2        User’s Responsibility for Compliance

It is your responsibility to use Ahln hardware and software in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations (local and international). Dub Dev Technologies is not responsible if you use our services in a way that violates import/export regulations, data privacy laws, or any other legal requirement. You must also adhere to any applicable third-party terms when using integrated services (for example, you must follow courier rules when using their tracking through our app). You agree that you will not use Ahln services for unlawful purposes, and any such misuse will make you solely liable for any consequences.

6.3        Account Security and Accurate Information

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and ensuring that any information you provide to Ahln (such as shipping details, addresses, and user profiles) is accurate and up-to-date. We disclaim liability for any issues arising from inaccurate information input or unauthorized use of your account due to your failure to safeguard access. If you suspect unauthorized access to your Ahln account or Smart Box, you must notify us immediately; however, we do not assume liability for any damage done before we are able to take action.

7          Updates to Disclaimer and Governing Law

7.1        Changes to Disclaimers

Dub Dev Technologies may update or modify these disclaimers from time to time, especially as our services evolve or laws change. We reserve the right to amend the Disclaimer Document at our discretion. If we make material changes, we will provide notice via the website or app. Your continued use of Ahln services after any updates signifies your acceptance of the revised disclaimers. It is your responsibility to review the disclaimers periodically for any changes.

7.2        Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Disclaimer Document and all related terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically UAE federal law and regulations, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to these disclaimers or use of Ahln services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE. In agreeing to these terms, you also agree to the jurisdiction and venue of these courts for any legal actions. We also note that some jurisdictions may not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limitations. In such cases, our liability and warranties will be disclaimed or limited to the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law (and no further).
